Frame and crop your images — without anything leaving your computer

Pick a shape — portrait, landscape, square, rounded corners, circle or ellipse — drag and scale your image into it, straighten it, add a border and a soft drop shadow, and export as PNG, JPG, ICO or SVG. Everything happens in your own browser: FrameLoom never sends an image to the internet.

Works in Chrome and Edge, on Windows, macOS and Linux. No account, no subscription — you pay once and the licence is yours forever.

Example: an image framed with rounded corners and a light border. Example: an image framed as a circle with a gold border. Example: an image framed as a stretched ellipse. Example: an image framed as a landscape with a dark border and filled letterboxing.

Everything you need to frame an image beautifully

No complicated design program — just the handy steps you need again and again, in a calm, clear app.

1

Six frame shapes

Portrait, landscape, square, rounded corners, circle or ellipse — and you can stretch or shrink the ellipse yourself, width and height independently.

2

Move, scale, rotate

Drag and enlarge your image until it sits exactly right, and rotate it clockwise or counterclockwise if the horizon isn't quite straight.

3

Border, shadow and letterboxing

A border in the thickness and colour you choose, a soft drop shadow, and letterboxing you fill with a colour — or leave transparent.

4

Four export formats

Save your result as PNG, JPG, ICO (for desktop icons) or SVG — and choose your own default folder and filename for exports.

5

Nothing is uploaded

FrameLoom works directly with the image on your own disk. Files are never sent from your PC to a server — not even quietly in the background.

6

Works without internet too

Once opened, FrameLoom works as an app on your computer, even without an internet connection — handy, since your images never need to go online either.

Here's what it looks like

Four examples of the same app: rounded corners, a circle, a stretched ellipse and a landscape frame — each with its own border, shadow and letterboxing.

Rounded corners with a light border and soft drop shadow.
Circle shape with a gold border.
Stretched ellipse with transparent letterboxing.
Landscape frame with a dark border and filled letterboxing.

Pay once, done

Many photo tools today are subscriptions — often with AI features you don't always use, and a bill that comes back every month. FrameLoom does it differently.

Other programs

Pay every month, even in the months you don't use the tool. Often tied to a cloud account, and your images leave your computer to be processed.

FrameLoom

Pay once, use forever. No account needed, no monthly bill — and your images just stay on your own computer.

One price, no surprises

One licence, all features, yours forever.

Frequently asked questions

Does my image go anywhere when I use FrameLoom?

No. FrameLoom works directly with the file on your own disk, in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or sent to a server — you save your export locally too.

What exactly do I get for €14.95?

One licence key that lets you use FrameLoom forever, on up to 3 devices at once. No subscription, no annual costs — you pay once.

I have a new PC. Can I transfer my licence?

Yes. You can activate your licence key on a new device; the oldest activation is then released. You can do this up to 2 times (so 3 activations in total, spread over time).

Can I try FrameLoom first?

Yes. You can open the app for free and try all the features — without a licence your export gets a watermark. That disappears as soon as you activate a licence key.

Is my payment secure?

Yes. Payment itself runs through Mollie, a recognised Dutch payment provider also used by many other companies and web shops. We don't see or store your payment details ourselves.

Does FrameLoom also work on my phone or tablet?

FrameLoom works best on a computer or laptop, in Chrome or Edge — nothing needs to be installed. This is needed because FrameLoom must be able to reach the file on your own disk directly; that isn't (yet) possible in Safari or Firefox, and support on phones or tablets varies.

What's the difference between FrameLoom and TagAlbum?

Two separate products from the same maker. TagAlbum helps you find your photos again using your own labels; FrameLoom frames and crops individual images. Both work entirely locally, but otherwise have nothing to do with each other.
