Nine frame shapes
Portrait, circle, heart, binoculars, sunglasses and more. Your image fits exactly.
Photos, clipart, logos, drawings: any digital image. Pick a shape, remove the background, cut out holes, add text or a border of icons — and export as PNG, JPG or ICO. Everything happens in your own browser.
Every option is free to try; your export then gets a watermark. Works in Chrome and Edge. No account, no subscription.

Your image stays on your own computer. FrameLoom works directly in your browser.
No subscription and no account. Your licence is yours for good, from €14.95.
Not just photos: also clipart, logos, drawings and icons, and even real SVGs.
All in the browser, on one and the same photo. Every feature can be tried for free, and the manual shows exactly how it works.
Portrait, circle, heart, binoculars, sunglasses and more. Your image fits exactly.
Click a colour away with the magic wand, draw an outline or rub it out.
Cut out holes and let a different image show through each one.
Several texts, rotated or vertical. Or show the photo only inside the letters.
Hearts, cars, swans: a ring of little pictures around your image.
A border in your own colour and a soft shadow underneath.
Everything can be combined: a hole with an image, text over it, and a border around it.

No. FrameLoom works directly with the file on your own disk, in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or sent to a server — you save your export locally too.
Every feature is free to try. Basis removes the watermark when you use the basic features: all regular frame shapes, border, shadow and export. Pro does so for the Pro features too (magic wand, free selection, eraser, holes, images behind the photo, text, icon border and the heart, binoculars and sunglasses shapes) and SVG editing. New Pro features are added for free.
Yes. You can activate your licence key on a new device; the oldest activation is then released. You can do this up to 2 times (so 3 activations in total, spread over time).
Yes. You can open the app for free and try every feature, no account needed. Without a licence your export gets a watermark; with Basis it disappears for the basic features, with Pro for everything.
Yes. Payment itself runs through Mollie, a recognised Dutch payment provider also used by many other companies and web shops. We don't see or store your payment details ourselves.
FrameLoom works on a desktop or laptop computer (Windows or Mac), in Chrome or Edge — nothing needs to be installed. This is needed because FrameLoom must be able to reach the file on your own disk directly; that isn't (yet) possible in Safari or Firefox. It doesn't work on a phone or tablet at all, not even in Chrome — on iPhone and iPad that's because every browser there is required to use Safari's engine.
Two separate products from the same maker. TagAlbum helps you find your photos again using your own labels; FrameLoom frames and crops individual images. Both work entirely locally, but otherwise have nothing to do with each other.
That's a built-in security notice from your browser itself (for example "This site can see edits you make"), not something from FrameLoom. It belongs to the technology FrameLoom uses to reach a file on your own disk directly, without uploading anything. It can't be turned off, and it doesn't mean anything goes onto the internet.
That arrow is Chrome's own download indicator, which briefly appears while the real save window is still opening. Don't click it — wait for the window where you can choose the file name and folder. That's the moment your export actually gets saved.
That only happens if saving to your chosen folder fails for any reason. As a safety net, FrameLoom then also places a copy in your Downloads folder, named frameloom-afbeelding.png, so your edited image is never lost. If saving to your chosen folder succeeds normally, this doesn't happen — you'll just get the one file, in the place you chose.
